Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from An excellent tie in to the 2010 movie Very enjoyable read. Starts right where the movie, Terminator Salvation ends. Timothy Zahn really captures the classic suspense of the old Terminator movies along with the new aged gritty post Judgment Day Salvation movie and comics. There are no clashes with alternate timelines as far as I could tell. I've been reading the currently ongoing series of comics from Dark Horse, titled: Terminator Salvation : The Final Battle. And this one could easily co-exist with the events of this book taking place somewhere in the middle of the comic book series. Pros - Face Paced - Smooth Story - Characters all feel alive with personalities and a back story - Stays true to what the fans would expect Cons - Timothy Zahn loves the word, "Grimace" or "Grimaced" I counted within the first 50 pages, it comes up more than the word TERMINATOR or T-600 / T-700 It's a small peeve I have with this author. His last book, From the Ashes was just Grimace, Grimaced, Grimaces, over and over and over and over and over and over and over... USE A THESAURUS! There are more words! Aside from that, I loved it. Well recommended to fans of the series. Id also highly recommend checking out the graphic novel Terminator Salvation : The Final Battle (DarkHorseComics)
