Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are essential I've been programming for about 3 years now, when I first started I got these on a recommendation of a teacher. They are still my favourite, and I find myself reaching to them again and again. The layout is easily navigable, concepts are clear and easy to grasp as he never outlines too much information at one time. They really helped me fill in the blanks when I was learning, and they are still great as a reference point when I have to revisit a function or property I haven't used in while. Plus they look really nice on a shelf lol

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far, so great! I've been toying with learning html for well over a year now, even using websites to do so. Then it occurred to me to get a text book. But, here's the thing, this is WAY more reader friendly than a boring text book. I love how each <tag> has it's own page so I feel like I'm actually making progress through the book! Lots of white space on each page for taking notes ( if you wanted to ) and just really unintimidating as far as textbooks on this subject go. It's only been a couple days but so far I am very impressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Approachable Learning Picked this up with a christmas giftcard for myself to go alongside my hobby programming efforts. The layout is clear and easy to follow and the information is delivered at a great pace. While already familiar with a little HTML I was happy to learn the techniques and best practices of the professionals. As soon as you get your first page up and running you'll be hooked. Can't wait to get into the second book!
