We have lost weight and feel so much better with improved energy levels. The book is helpful, easy to read and the recipes except the basic bread one are delightful

Purchased the Wheat Belly Cookbook in order to obtain new recipes. The first half of the Cookbook is a condensed version of the original book and could have been eliminated, after all I wanted a cookbook not another copy of the breakdown of the Wheat Belly Diet! Regardless of this duplication, the recipes provided in the cookbook are quite good and really help to get you started on this new lifestyle. Would have appreciated more recipes though.

They are both excellent, but if you want to find some healthy gluten-free recipes, then this is the best choice. I have been trying to reduce the gluten in my diet, but I didn't like the typical ingredients in most gluten-free recipes because they used ingredients that were not healthy. I like the healthier alternatives for gluten-free cooking in this book. The book also gives a great overview of why gluten is a problem for so many people. If you are suffering from things like diabetes, arthritis, migraines, and Fibromyalgia, you should definitely try to remove gluten from your diet. It could make a huge difference in your health!

The first part is a condensed version of the first book, "Wheat Belly" and the second part is a selection of recipes that follow his concepts of gluten free. The recipes I have tried are all very good, but I would like to see more of them. I bought the first book after buying this one, but in retrospect would only buy this one with the recipes as it gives you all the information from the first book anyways. This book is well worth buying if you are looking at a gluten free diet.
