Author of the Genealogies of our Saviour; the Inspiration of Scripture, Notes on Judges, Ruth and Samuel in the " Speaker's Commentary," besides various single sermons and charges, and articles iu Smith's Bible Dictionary. Right Rev. Alfred Ollivant, D.D., Bishop of Llaudaff, Bishop's Court, Llandaff. Born in Manchester in 1798. Died December 16, 1882. Formerly Vice-Principal of St. David's College.
