Born in Poland, Anna Karpinski grew up in St. Catharine's, Ontario, and moved to Prince Edward Island in 2002. With photographic training from York University and the Ontario College of Art, she has had group and solo exhibitions in Ontario (including Toronto's Gallery 44), Texas, and PEI, and documentary photos published in NOW Magazine, Eye
Weekly Magazine, and the Globe and Mail. Her most recent exhibition was at the Confederation Centre Art Gallery and Museum in Charlottetown in the summer of 2007. Anna lives with her husband and daughter in
Charlottetown.
