Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best little murder story The first Novel by Mr. Turnage earns every star for creativity, plot and setting. His writing style is simple and welcoming to any reader across the literature spectrum. His experience in the field brings us a more realistic take on the lives of casino workers, while providing a crime story that has the reader stuck until the bitter end. Plot wise the story is beyond your average crime story where the hero sails with dear love to the sunset. This is a grittier more up to modern times tale that shows that crime isn't pretty, and that your hero isn't gonna be wearing fancy watches or coats. Even more so when the main criminal of this story isn't your movie villain that gives off a monologue romanticizing their deeds. It more accurately represents what can go on in a criminal mind without making itself a big deal. Beyond anything else in structure or chapter division, this is a great Novel, and one that you will want to revisit over and over.
