The solemn day will be introduced by the first resurrection, changing of the righteous living, a general conflagration of the earth, and it will close up at the expiration of a period, called in Rev. 20: 5, a thousand years, with the resurrection of the unjust, and the condemnation and destruction of the wicked, from the presence of the Lord and the glory of his power. Rev. 20: 12--15. "I charge thee before God and our Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing in his kingdom." 'He hath appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness.' In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.'
