The #1 New York Times smash bestseller Revised and expanded with new material.

With over two million copies sold, Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man has become a bestseller around the world. In conjunction with its second movie sequel to be released this summer, Steve Harvey has updated his classic with new advice and insights.

Whether it’s why women should enforce a “90-Day Probation Period” before they give their men sexual “benefits”—the way Ford motor company withholds medical and dental benefits until an employee has been on the job for 3 months—or explaining to women why men would rather “fix it” than talk about it, Steve Harvey’s advice is always spot-on and laden with warmth and humor. But behind the laughter is his sincere desire to help women understand men.

Now, Steve shares even more relationship wisdom. Does it feel like your man’s friends are against you? What should you know about being a wife, before you say “I Do”? Steve provides the answers to these questions and more, and offers new insights including:

  • How to put spice into your relationship
  • 8 sure-fire ways to keep your cool when his “ex” shows up
  • A test for you and your partner, to see if you’re actually ready for marriage. . . or need more time
  • A 90-day abstinence calendar, and tips for making it through this important trial period

With liberal use of his own adventures in love and courtship, Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man is an honest, compelling, and realistic examination of how men think about love and sex and what women need to know so that they can set realistic expectations of the men in their life.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Meh As an audiobook, this was quite entertaining. Harvey provided few insights that I found to be helpful. Otherwise, his perspective seemed to be rooted in the traditional understanding of men and women. It was decent, but I don't think that I would recommend it to a friend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun Read I really enjoyed this book, Steve Harvey makes some great points! While I think he is right about a to of things, he is always generalizing a lot of men to be just like him. While this could be true with basic instincts, I would take his advice with a grain of salt. Still highly recommend this book though!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from .. A lot of helpful tips. It's nice to hear from a man's perspective and get a better understanding of the male mind and when they really want to be with you and when to know they're just playing you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Enjoyed the book Funny and nice reminder to remember to put yourself first in case you've forgotten. If you're already self-aware... then most likely you wouldn't have picked up a book with a name like this in the first place

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No. Just no. This book is a sexist piece of garbage -- sexist toward both men and women. Also, it seems to cater to people who live a very specific lifestyle with a very specific way of speaking. Basically people who think like Steve Harvey, religion and all. It's just not realistic. Not all men are slobs who just want to watch sports all the time. You know, some men actually have feelings and want more than just sex and women waiting on them. Gee, isn't that a ground-breaking concept? Also, the definition of a strong, independent woman is not (as was described in an example in the book) someone who feels the need to beat a man down if she has the financial upper-hand. That kind of person is an asshole. A strong, independent woman is someone who doesn't need to rely on others for finances, self-confidence, or running her life in general. I don't even know what else to say about this book. It's just ludicrous.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Entertaining I have been in some spots that he talked about but At the same time I realize that in my case he was a boy not a man & had no respect for his mother. I should have known that was a red flag. I'm in my fifties now & still looking for the one. This book will remind me of Thoes red flags.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why? Why I am reading this book only now when I am 38!? Got it to my all female friends for Christmas gift. We have so many mistakes to correct in our relationship life. Happy new years of good and happy relations!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Go Steve! Go Steve! Just what I've always wanted out of a good read is all in this book. Inside I found a man giving women real advice in an honest way. OK, some things were hard to hear, but they were all true. We are afraid, we don't know our power and we can get what we want. Many thanks and one big hug from me to you Mr. Harvey.
