Jack London – (Jan 12, 1876 – Nov 22, 1916) American writer and journalist. Born and grown up in California, he tried his luck in Alaska in the time of the Gold Rush, but unsuccessfully. During his writer's career he's written such novels as Martin Eden, The White Fang, The Sea-Wolf etc. and a lot of magnificent short stories.
"Adventure" is novel by Jack London. The story revolves around a plantation, harassed by black cannibals. At this plantation arrive two people, a man and a woman. They are so different in their views and politics, that plantation turn out to have enough room only for one of them. And their vigorous conflict is about to turn the whole place upside down.
