Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Devotional The author takes us on a journey into scriptures that mention the word "all". Though the word all is mentioned over 5000 times in the bible according to the author of this devotional, he has chosen 365 of them, so that each day the reader can explore a scripture that will bring them to a deeper understanding of how that one word highlights qualities of God and His immeasurable power and how "all" brings us closer to Him. I do like this devotional. I love that it delves into a theme and yet has such great variety to it. I found the thoughts very meaningful and applicable to my Christian walk and drawing me to a better understanding of just how big a God we have. Of course I haven't read through the whole of the book just yet, as I just received it a few weeks ago, but I've been doing a few a day in order to do a review on time. I find that my interest has not waned as it usually does with devotionals but that I want to keep going in it. I like the writing, it's descriptive and teaches without sounding heavy and studious (for lack of a better word coming to mind). I also liked how each devotional started with a verse of scripture but then gave you the portion of scripture that you could turn to in your own bible so that the reader may get a better perspective by being able to read it in context of the preceding and following verses. And this might be such a silly point but I loved the cover of the book! The picture, colors and texture of it is so nice it would make a lovely gift. Disclosure: Thanks to B & B Media for a free copy of this book for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own and I am not required to give a good review.
