Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing read I was recommended this book by a friend and ever since buying it and reading it, I have recommended it to friends as well. It is such an interesting and powerful story. The story is very well-written and executed nicely. I am not aware of the different cultures and their gods, so I would take time to do a quick search. It opens your eyes to a lot of personalities and traits as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stunning in it's scope and execution Gaiman paints a rich and fantastical world unlike anything else available in adult fiction. Excellent writing, a compelling plot, and a diverse cast of characters makes this book an excellent read, even for those who prefer to avoid books in which mythology plays a central role.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Something Out of the Ordinary! I received this book as a gift and, being a classical mythology nerd, I was really excited to read this. What I got, however, was something I never expected! Although this book references different Gods, I was surprisingly pleased that it didn't focus only on Greek/Roman Gods. Instead, it has a wealth of information and Gods that I never learned about before. This is a new and different story, unlike anything else I have read. It is brilliantly researched and written. If you like an adventure that keeps you thinking along the way, this is the book for you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome read! Finally read this classic by Mr. Gaiman. Despite its size, the book reads well with crisp dialogue and a pantheon of characters. The fate of old World Gods in the lands of America is a geat tale of myth, action and existentialism. Loved it.
