Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amy Winehouse true story Outstanding book of the short but tragic life of Amy Winehouse as told by her father using his journals he kept during the time that Amy first started her decent into addiction and alcoholism. Heart wrenching and honest from a loving father who tragically did everything he could and still alcohol poisoning killed a young brilliant sometimes obnoxious her love for a husband who from day one planned to take advantage of her by filming her daily while they were married. Thank God the bum is in prison for robbery. Hope he stays there. Of you listened to Anny doing and you loved her like millions of people have and do. You must read this book. You will feel like you are with her right there wishing you could hold her hand to stop her stage fright.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow... so moving Honestly, what a great story. We all knew Amy as a wonderful singer, and her ups amd downs with different substances. But when her own father writes about her life, definitely has changed my views, and answered a lot of questions... such a great read.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amy, My Daughter I can't tell you when I've laughed and cried so much reading a book. This book rocked me to the core of my soul. I felt like I was there with him through the good and the bad and the love that he had and still has for his daughter is beautiful. I can honestly say that as sad as the outcome of her life ended up, this was by far one of the best books I have ever read. My heart goes out to that entire family!
