Editorial Reviews

Anatomica is a must-have for any home library. Its complete references to the human body and all of its complexities are outstanding, and its 1,400 colour drawings give it the most precise medical information conceivable. Cells and body systems, the head, neck, chest cavity, urinary and reproductive systems, shoulders, hips, legs, and feet, are just some of the areas covered about this wonderful thing we call our body. Specific chapters deal with infectious diseases, heredity, DNA and genetic disease, the human life cycle, emotional and behavioral disorders, and diagnostic techniques, are discussed also. There is also a first-aid guide, but Anatomica does not stop there, addressing other concerns like alcoholism, sexuality, stress, and personality disorders. The book is the essential reference guide, one those concerned about their health and that of others, must own.
