She wakes up in her own grave. She doesn't know who put her there, she doesn't know where she is, and she has no friends or family.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Unique World Building Lilith Saintcrow is fantastic at writing unique urban fantasy worlds, and this one was another great addition. There were lots of surprises in the story and it had a great ending.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Goodbye Jill, it was a great ride! Angel Town is book 6 and the last instalment in the Jill Kismet books, a dark and gritty Urban Fantasy series written by Lilith Saintcrow. As with Saintcrow's other great series featuring Dante Valentine, I'm sad to see Jill's story come to an end, but happy to say that at least she was ushered out in style. Jill is a kick-ass character with plenty of flaws and insecurities to keep her human. Her love for Saul, the gentle werecat that won’t leave her side, is heartbreaking in its intensity, and one of my favorite urban fantasy love stories. And then there's Perry! Perry is anything but human, he's pure evil genius. One of the most interesting characters I have ever read. Angel Town is pretty much non-stop action from the moment Jill claws her way out of her own grave (and that's not a spoiler, it's written right on the cover). Saintcrows's usual talent for building stomach churning menace is on full display. Jill will stop at nothing to stop Perry and she’ll get help from some expected and unexpected places. Angel Town was an amazing finale to one of the best series in urban fantasy! 2011-053

Editorial Reviews

Praise for the Jill Kismet series:"Packed with nonstop action, it's a compelling tale...Jill is a tough cookie with a surprisingly mushy center, and Saintcrow captures these seeming contradictions in her character with aplomb and believability." --- Romantic Times"This mind-blowing series remains a must-read for all urban fantasy lovers." --- bittenbybooks.com"Lyrical language and movie-worthy fight scenes are staples in Saintcrow's novels, and this one is no exception." --- midwestbookreview.com
