about

This is my interview with the late Ed Warren (September 7, 1926 – August 23, 2006) about Annabelle the cursed Raggedy Ann doll. The interview took place in the Warren's back yard in Monroe CT after myself and several classmates took a tour of the Warren's occult museum. I attended the weekly classes the Warren's used to have every week. Ed discusses how they got involved with the case, his interview with the girls, the attacks on Lou, how they got rid of demonic spirit from the girls apartment and what happened after they removed the doll and took it to their home. The doll is currently in a case in the Warren's Occult Museum.

Annabelle is a cursed Raggedy Anne doll that was bought in an antique/second hand store by a mother who gave the doll to their daughter as a present.  Soon the doll started moving and changing postures.  The doll Not wanting to believe was cursed or demonic the owner began securing her home.  She felt someone was playing tricks on her.  One day the doll attached a young man and they're feeling of the doll changed.

In their efforts to get to the bottom of things, the owner contacted a medium who told them a little girl name Annabelle Higgins was causing the problems.  Furthermore, the little girl asked for permission to move into the doll.  Permission was giving and things quickly changed.  They soon learned they had a demonic doll, after two attacks on one of the young ladies boyfriend.
