about

pubOne.info thank you for your continued support and wish to present you this new edition. Harvest is ended and summer is gone, quoted Anne Shirley, gazing across the shorn fields dreamily. She and Diana Barry had been picking apples in the Green Gables orchard, but were now resting from their labors in a sunny corner, where airy fleets of thistledown drifted by on the wings of a wind that was still summer-sweet with the incense of ferns in the Haunted Wood.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A book that will touch your heart This is one book that will never be forgotten in my mind, or thousands of other Canadians. It is a book of romance, friendship, and hopes for the future. Anne leaves Green Gables behind, and starts on a new path in life. Most of this novel takes place in Kingsport, where Anne attends Redmond College. Her adventures and triumphs will put a smile on your face, and the wonderful conclusion will bring tears to your eyes. People of all ages can enjoy this amazing and powerful novel. This will be one story that I will hold faithfully in my heart forever.
