Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mudane Narrative but Modern Twist on Characteristic Archie Elements Although the narrative was a bit mudane, I still found it interesting how both Mark Waid and Veronica Fish have managed to put a modern twist on an otherwise characteristic Archie story element, that is that unwillingly Archie's clumsiness or right intentions manages to land him in a major misunderstanding. Only given the contemporary aspect of the issue, the drama related to this misunderstanding is much more at stake and realistic, with the impending election, his relation to Mr. Collier and his jeopardized relationships with Betty and Veronica. Additionally, fans interested by Archie comic history will be delighted at the idea of learning about Frank Doyle, late Archie writer, courtesy of author Mark Waid's commentary.
