Archie and Jughead have been playing their instruments in Archie’s garage for a while, but now it’s finally time for them to take their talents elsewhere. Veronica suggests that the two form a band—assuming, of course, that she gets to be their lead singer. This bothers Betty, since music was a deep connection that she had always shared with Archie—so she’ll just have to form her own rival band. Now it’s #TeamArchie vs. #TeamBetty in a battle of the bands that has the whole school picking sides!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Modern Retelling of ''The Archies'' Readers are likely to enjoy Issue 11, as it is a modern retelling of '' The Archies.'' This appreciation may be due to a clever comparison between Betty and Archie's reasons for starting a band, Betty finally taking a stand for her feelings, and ultimately Archie and Betty forgiving one another for the ''Lipstick Incident'', a pardon only possible with the power of music. Additionally, the ending, which shows two characters eavesdropping in on private moments, compels the reader to anticipate Issue 12. Lastly, Mark Waid's commentary on the development of the made-for show ''The Archies' not only informs readers with previously unknown information, but also invites them to research this band's discography.
