Rated 3 out of 5 by from Shows That Betty Is Not Alone In Her Recovery Issue 23 of ''Archie'' sheds a new light on Betty, precisely, how much Riverdale's citizens take her for granted, but nonetheless appreciate her. That being said, readers will be awed by the comradeship, as manifested by the efforts her friends put in to perform her jobs, and may feel pity for Archie, who no matter what he does, never ends up working out. However, through typical Archie Andrews fashion, Mard Waid shows that oftentimes mistakes become beautiful events, as shown by the candle lighting ceremony held for Betty. Overall, this issue shows that Betty is, and will never be, truly alone in her recovery.
