Rated 3 out of 5 by from New Side of Characters and Leaves Readers Awaiting The Future of Archie and Betty's Relationship What is most interesting about this issue is that we get to see a new side of Dilton Doiley, a secondary character, this time, as he acts on his romantic impulses, as well as a humane side to Veronica, as she realizes that she might actually experience empathy. Additionally, Mard Waid should be congratulated for making readers relieved, that is by making Betty and Archie realize they've been hiding feelings for readers all along, then automatically making them unsatisfied with his decision to make Betty turn down a relationship with Archie. Such a technique will invite readers to think in Betty's shoes, and in turn, to actively read on in order to read about the future of her and Archie's relationship. In the same fashion, the introduction of the Blossom criminal story as written in the newspaper makes for a great cliff-hanger that will have readers eagerly awaiting Issue 28's release
