In this book, privileged children of wealthy parents are raised in an intense academic and training program, in anticipation that they will crew an interstellar spacecraft meant to allow a least à small vestige of mankind to survive earth's great flood. The details of a crumbling government and swiftly diminished habitable would and unforgettable?
