New York Times and USA Today Bestseller

Jay Crownover’s New York Times and USA Today bestselling Marked Men series continues with the much anticipated story of southern charmer and certified criminal Asa Cross.

Starting over in Denver with a whole new circle of friends and family, Asa Cross struggles with being the man he knows everyone wants him to be and the man he knows he really is. A leopard doesn’t it change its spots and Asa has always been a predator. He doesn’t want to hurt those who love and rely on him, especially one luscious arresting cop who suddenly seems to be interested in him for far more than his penchant for breaking the law. But letting go of old habits is hard, and it’s easy to hit bottom when it’s the place you know best.

Royal Hastings is quickly learning what the bottom looks like after a tragic situation at work threatens not only her career but her partner’s life. As a woman who has only ever had a few real friends she’s trying to muddle through her confusion and devastation all alone. Except she can’t stop thinking about the sexy southern bartender she locked up. Crushing on Asa is the last thing she needs but his allure is too strong to resist. His long criminal record can only hurt her already shaky career and chasing after a guy who has no respect for the law or himself can only end in heartbreak.

A longtime criminal and a cop together just seems so wrong . . . but for Asa and Royal, being wrong together is the only right choice to make.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Review from This is the Story of My(Reading) Life Sob. I can't believe this is the end. I never want to leave the Marked Men gang. I wish this was real life. I would be right on infiltrating their friend group and than snagging me one of their men. Ahem. I think it was really fitting ending with Asa. He's the southern charmer with a scary looking past. But as this series is big on second chances, it really showed for Asa. And even Royal. They are definitely a spit fire kind of couple. They were clearly made for each other. I loved this book, like I've loved the whole series. Especially because of the friend dynamic and getting to see how the other couples lives are continuing on, I can only hope Crownover decides to re-visit these characters down the road.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Asa by Jay Crownover I absolutely loved this book! Once again we join up with the amazing characters of the Marked Men series to find out Asa and Royal's story. The writing is phenomenal and we are given deep characters that are believable. This story draws you in just as deep as all the others in the series. It follows the struggle that Asa ( a reformed con man) and Royal (a cop) have as they try to put their pasts behind them and figure out how a relationship between the unlikely duo can work. You also get the opportunity to catch up with the rest of the group of friends and see how their lives are progressing. I was very satisfied with is being the last book in this series, everything felt very settled a the end!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ending Oh my goodness! When we first met Asa, I wasn't sure how I felt about him. He seemed to be a gigantic, calculating jerk. But I fell in love with this Southern Charmer. He and Royal are so perfectly imperfect and perfect for each other. I love them both and this was the perfect ending to a terrific series.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You will love The Marked Men ASA is book #6 in an amazing series about a group of bad boys and their feisty women. I chose to read RULE (Book #1) because I like the title. I was instantly in love with every character, and found myself wanting to be part of this misfit family. Each book is based on it's own gorgeous man and the woman who changes him forever...but each book builds on the previous one so you always feel connected to every person. Thank you, Jay Crownover for introducing your boys to me! ASA was an awesome end to the series!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfection Once again Jay has outdone herself! She had me at chapter one and I regretted having to pause my reading to go to work. Asa is the perfect man! And Royal is his perfect other half. I was heartbroken and mended throughout the book. And I suggest that every read him and all the other Marked Men if you haven't already!
