about

This New York Times bestselling hit from Meg Cabot mixes the wit of the Princess Diaries with a supernatural twist on the Arthurian legend.

Ellie’s thrilled to meet Will, the star football player whose popularity at her new school is almost legendary. Yet as she gets to know Will better, Ellie starts to uncover some strange things about him. And the school. And even herself. Ellie doesn’t think much of déjà vu, but she just can’t shake the haunting feeling that, somehow, this has all happened before…

A long-ago legend comes to new life in this tale of a love triangle, a medieval sword, and a totally awesome pool raft in this stand-alone novel from the New York Times bestselling author of The Princess Diaries.

Meg Cabot was born in Bloomington, Indiana. In addition to her adult contemporary fiction, she is the author of the bestselling young adult fiction series The Princess Diaries. She lives in Key West, Florida, with her husband.

Reviews

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This is such a cute story. It is very relate-able to teenagers that are in high school and may be dealing with friendship issues and the typical teenage drama. It is a fun novel to read as well as being a pretty easy read. The story line was interesting and the characters were interesting as well. I would definitely recommend reading this novel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Silly but fun! I grew up reading Meg Cabot's teen books and didn't read this one until I was a little bit older, but found it surprisingly to be my favourite. It has just enough intrigue to keep the typical romantic plotlines interesting, and you genuinely care about these characters.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Avalon High Surprisingly, the movie was better than the book... I watched the movie so I decided to read the book as well, but the book was disappointing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing As a lover of Arthurian mythology and YA literature, I had huge expectations for this novel. Unfortunately the novel failed to live up to them. The characters were one-dimensional, the plot ridiculous and predictable and the love storylines completely unappealing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Fantasy I bought this book years ago because I love Meg Cabot. I've yet to read a book of hers that I didn't love. I loved how Meg turned a seemly normal girl and boy's life into a modern King Arthur's tale. I passed it on to my then 12 year old cousin and she gave me a look but I told her to trust me and she loved it too. Bought this copy for my best friend's daughter who loves to read a good book and spends most of her time reading. I know she will love it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Camelot story I loved the twist on the classic King Arthur tale. This was a great read and although you knew everything from the beginning the way things unfolded made the book at great read

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What an awesome book, eh? This book, like some others that I have read, was recommended to me :) I could`ve just been like; Nah, this type of book isn`t for me, but I took a chance and I was h o o k e d. I have never been interested in the King Arthur kinda thing, but while I was reading this book, I actually Google`d some of the information to understand it more. Great book ^___^ 5/5!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from read it, please!~ This book was great. Mystery, romance, suspence, an awesome plot and story, and things fall together perfectly. Meg Cabot really did an incredible job with this book! AND Meg has announced that it has been optioned to be made into a movie, too. Read the book first, though, the book is always better than the movie... No offence to movies and people who like them better.
