Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Favourite Growing Up This was my favourite Dr. Seuss book as a kid. I would go to it at the library again and again. It was also a little scary... I couldn't imagine what all that green goo would feel like dripping on you!

Kings, it seems, get bored quite easily. And King Derwin is one of those kings. He's not happy with the boring old things that fall from the sky. So he turns to his royal magicians to come up with something more interesting than the blah snow and rain. Boy, do they ever! In fact, when Ooblek first falls from the heavens, the sticky substance covers absolutely everything and no one knows what to do. Enter the pageboy Bartholemew who's figured out the solution to all the king's problems. Dr. Seuss' Bartholomew and the Ooblek will slime you and have you coming back for more gooey pleasure!
