Little things can have a big impact, as in this funny Beginner Book by Dr. Seuss (writing under the name Rosetta Stone) and Michael Frith. When a little bug sneezes, he unknowingly sets off a hilarious chain reaction that wreaks havoc clear across town. From a toppled turtle to a sinking ship to a disrupted circus parade, Because a Little Bug Went Ka-Choo! takes a hysterical look at consequences in a way that only Dr. Seuss can.

Originally created by Dr. Seuss, Beginner Books encourage children to read all by themselves, with simple words and illustrations that give clues to their meaning.

"A little bug sneezes, causing a chain of calamities. Repetition helps beginning readers and cartoon-like characters add zest."--School Library Journal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for young readers This is a fun little beginner book that early readers will really enjoy. I would say that the most difficult words for beginner readers in this book are "because", "policeman", "turtle", "parade", "happened", "believe", "phone", and "coconut", with most words being simple and easy to pronounce. At 48 pages, it feels like an accomplishment to young readers, and builds up their confidence, though each page only has a few lines of text apiece. The fun and colorful illustrations enhance the story line. This book is a solid choice for early childhood. #plumreview

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Who Knew? Who knew a such a little sneeze would lead to the sinking of a boat, and the ruining of a parade? (Oh, did I give away the plot?) My kids enjoyed this book and I don't see how any child (or adult) wouldn't enjoy it as well.
