Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sobering This is not an easy read in that the stories are horrific. It is beyond understanding how people can live through the horrors described, and then go on with living afterward. Many of these women were the only surviving members of their previously large families. Thank you to each of them for telling their stories. They are examples of courage and resiliency.
