Rated 5 out of 5 by from Business Made Easy If you're looking to expand your knowledge about business, branding and how to succeed Better and Faster is just the book you need to have in your arsenal. Gutsche lays out six easy to follow patterns to help you spot innovation and increase your chance at uncovering success. My favorite story is about an organic and social good food company called Dave's Killer Bread that tells the tale of redemption of an ex-con that leveraged his story and aligning multiple trends into a successful bread business.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from See Opportunity Everywhere I really enjoyed reading this fast-paced and enlightening book. The best part about reading this was that it actually made me see the world around me in a different light. I'm constantly spotting patterns of opportunity and training myself to avoid complacency in all areas of life once I realized how a few small changes can make a large impact.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kept me engaged There's a lot of good business logic to be extracted from Better and Faster. For small business and large alike the stories of successfully leveraging key patterns provide real life takeaways for your company. I'd definitely recommend this book to a friend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Engaging and informative This book is hard to put down for many reasons. Full of real world examples to help inspire and teach, Better and Faster will get people to their next big idea in no time. Yet at the end of the day, it's full of case studies that are interesting in and of themselves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Book Ya know, some books just suck you in making it difficult to put them down for any significant period of time. Better and Faster is no exception. I really enjoyed the personal stories, they add a real charm to the book. But the best bits --the patterns of opportunity -- provide readers with a framework that is both practical and educational. 10/10 would recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Zipped Through It Easy to read and packed with cool stories. I haven't read that many business books, but someone gave me this one so I checked it out and ended up really liking it. Best story for me was the Dave's Killer Bread (convergence pattern).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Informative Yet Educational Unlike other business books that are really difficult to access for the layperson, Better & Faster is a great and swift read. I liked that not all of the examples involve the usual multi-national corporate suspects – they also include startups, individuals who had no business succeeding in life and stories from Gutsche's own journey as an entrepreneur and visionary. This makes the book informative while still being educational and informative.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super informative and fun to read Definitely best in class in terms of business books. Better and Faster not only gave me applicable tips and tools (note: the patterns of opportunity are so spot on) to use on a day-to-day basis, but the anecdotes -- sometimes personal to the author Jeremy Gutsche -- made it a pleasure to read.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from should be required reading! I was pleasantly surprised to find that Better & Faster, unlike a lot of business books I've had experience with, is an entertaining and educational read. The storytelling shed light on lesser known business stories, and helps bring his six patterns of opportunity to life.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't put this book down! Insightful read that explores business in a refreshing way! Better and Faster's patterns of success and case studies make the book an addictive page turner that will appeal to a diverse group. Its passage about Zara founder Amancio Ortega and his brand's philosophy was one of my favourite segments while author Jeremy Gutsche's personal stories gave readers a look at his humble beginnings!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from NYT Bestseller for a reason One of the things I enjoyed most about reading Better and Faster is that the anecdotes are factual and engaging, much like the style of a Malcolm Gladwell book. The timeless patterns of opportunity and pitfalls of becoming a "farmer" are definitely eye-opening and although I have little experience in business or management, I'll definitely come back to concepts like "Throw away your best idea" to boost my own creativity. Entrepreneurs, marketers and informed consumers can't afford to miss the insights in Better and Faster. This book is a must-read, your will be better (and faster) for it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An Inspiring Page-Turner! As someone who doesn't typically gravitate towards business books, I could not put Better & Faster down! The book features so many unknown and fascinating stories about brands -- both big and small -- that you'll never know existed. Jeremy creates an unparalleled dialogue between the stories and his six patterns that help people find their next big opportunity. I definitely recommend this book -- and not just to people in business!
