Rated 5 out of 5 by from All-time favourite Girls in our Grade 12 cooking class received this book for use during the 1961-1962 school year. The step-by-step instructions helped us become good cooks. The hostess section showed how to set a proper table, etc. I have given this book to new young wives, and they love it too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Betty Crocker's Cookbook is Picture Perfect I love this book! I found this book to be very charming with all the older/ vintage pictures as well as the recipes from yesteryear. I am a new mom and my mother never had a book like this, but I can only imagine the wonderful dinners that will be prepared from such a fantastic book. It is " The Original 1950 Classic Edition" I am smitten.
