#1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts presents the first novel in a compelling trilogy about three brothers bound by fate, blood, and a timeless enemy.

In the town of Hawkins Hollow, it’s called The Seven. Every seven years, on the seventh day of the seventh month, strange things happen. It began when three young boys—Caleb, Fox, and Gage—went on a camping trip to The Pagan Stone...
It is only February, but Caleb Hawkins—descendant of the town founders—has already seen and felt the stirrings of evil. Though he can never forget the beginning of the terror in the woods twenty-one years ago, the signs have never been this strong before. Cal will need the help of his best friends Fox and Gage, but surprisingly he must rely on a stranger as well.

Reporter Quinn Black came to Hawkins Hollow hoping to make its eerie happenings the subject of her new book. She too can see the evil the locals cannot, somehow connecting her to the town—and to Cal. As winter turns to spring, they will shed their inhibitions, surrendering to a desire that will grow and form the cornerstone of a group of men and women bound by the fight against what is to come from out of the darkness…

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Trilogy These can be a bit cheesey at points but overall quite a good read.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Intriguing Spooky meet detective story with candy sweet romance.... Slow to reach its peak, but does the job to give background and build up the excitement to the climax... Off to read book two to know more...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! This was a great start to a great series! I couldn't put this book down and couldn't wait to start the next one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, but could have been better I actually have finished reading all three of the series and although they were each a good read, I felt that they stretched out too long. If NR had condensed all three into one book I think it would have been a really great read.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Must Read Trilogy This book, marks the beginning of a brand new trilogy for Nora Roberts. From page one, it's managed to captivate my interest, and has managed to hold it right until the end of the book, thus leaving me wanting and waiting for the other books to come out. It is definately the beginning of a page turner trilogy, and it's definately a must read for anyone who is a Nora Roberts fan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Book Really enjoyed the book - once I got past the few first pages!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Coincidental and disappointing Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed with this book. It started off great and actually scared me in places but then it started to get too coincidental when other characters were added in. I started to feel like character development was suffering a bit in order to advance the story and the relationship was just hitting you in the face a little bit. I am a big fan of Nora Roberts but this is the second trilogy I haven't really enjoyed. I think I'm still looking for the next MacGregor book...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Great Start And Nora Roberts does it again. I swear her trilogies are amazing and I especially love that they come straight to mass market. You fellow readers will be pleased to know that you can easily tell she did quite a lot of planning for this trilogy...and yet it seems almost effortless. She's doing great in the paranormal department. First the Circle trilogy and now this. Can't wait to read The Hollow.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excited For The Next One! I was impressed with this book. I have been an avid Nora Roberts fan for a few years now, and this is probably one of my favourites by her. I'm extremely excited for May and the second book's release. Not too sure how this trilogy is going to be unveiled, but I can't wait!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A different side of Nora - again! Nora Roberts can write anything! Being an avid JD Robb reader, I was expecting more romance and less adventure in this book, but that's not what I got! I finished it up last night and spent most of the day wondering how I'm going to manage to wait until May to read part II....that and I spent all day watching for signs of, well, if you read it, you know who I was watching for...just enough "creepy" to make it exciting!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing!!! I’ve read many books for Nora Roberts and liked her style. However, this book is very disappointing. The story did not pick up at any point. The ending is supposed to be a cliffhanger yet no sense to bind you to look forward to the next books. I understand it’s supposed to be a trilogy, but I think the author would have been able to write the three books in one instead and forget a trilogy for that matter. I did finish the book, but found it a waste of time and money. After reading a very good book for Nora Roberts “Northern lights”, I was very disappointed in “Blood Brothers”.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another triumph from Nora Roberts I am a big fan of Nora Roberts. I love reading her books because her books has great stories, wonderful characters, great dialogue, their fast paced and well written. Blood Brothers are all those, and I can't wait for the next two books.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Interesting read This book is a little darker than the typical Nora Roberts. Still with a touch of romance so it gives a nice mix. The characters are interesting, the couplings predictable, but she always makes it work with her writing style. The first in a trilogy and she does a great job in introducing us to the characters and the conflict they will endure.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Can't Get Enough! Nora Roberts consistently lures her audience in with amazing ability to write stories that have a "real world" feel. Although she uses the "good versus evil" ploy in many of her "trilogies", it's easy to believe that magic and forces beyond or understanding are at work around us. The common thread seems to tell us that no matter what, our destinies lie within ourselves to choose. The only downside to this latest offering is that we have to wait for book 2 and 3 :-(. Recommended reading if you like this genre.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great appetizer As usual another Nora Roberts I can't put down, but this one left me hungry for more. I definately can't wait for the next one in the trilogy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great addition to the Nora collection! I have read many Nora Roberts books and many J.D. Robb books. My favorite romance books by her are the books that have a little bit of 'scary' in them. It was slightly predictable but definately a must read for any Nora fan! Can't wait for the next two!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CAPTIVATING!!! I found this book to be a definite page turner. Great plot, fused with fascinating characters; once again Nora Roberts has created another captivating and thrilling story. This takes her above the "romance novelist" genre and would be a good read for anybody. Can not wait for the second part of this trilogy to be released.....absolutely could not put it down. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Intriguing I found this book kept me spellbound through out all the chapters. I have always enjoyed Nora Robert books anyway but this one was really fascinating. The characters were very good, they kept me guessing as to what was going to happen next. I was really pulled into the story. Can hardly wait for the next one to come out. Keep up the good work Nora

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but a bit disappointed I am a die hard Nora fan and looked forwrad to this books release, however I found it anticlimatic, no real excitiment. I did finish it and will read the rest of the series with hope the the "good stuff" is still to come!
