Rated 3 out of 5 by from aesthetically pleasing this book is so damn pretty i just want to say that first!!! the layout, the pictures, the lists, the coloured pages, ugh MY AESTHETIC!! but that's about the best part of it honestly. she pretty on the outside but on the inside... she could use some work. i used to be obsessed with estee's channel but have recently fallen out with her content (not personal honestly, i just don't watch a lot of that kind of youtube anymore) so i have nothing against her. i just feel like a lot of the time i was reading this book i just wanted to say, "check your privilege" lol. a lot of the content definitely came across very privileged and it irked me a bit. there was a lot of information in there that wasn't explored as much as i thought it should have been. sometimes she wouldn't explain herself so everything would feel very flat. it was a quick read but nothing in the book was very interesting to me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful!! I love Estée and her channel and I was so excited to read her book! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and learning about her life and experiences. There were a couple errors of spelling and grammar but nothing too big. I would definitely recommend this book to others regardless of if they know who Estée is or not. Lovely!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Interesting to Read I loved how there were aspects on so many parts of life that could be described as "stylish", a very simple read especially if you want to relax and get into a non-fiction. The pictures are also beautiful and the entire book is super aesthetically pleasing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful to read! I bought her book the moment it came out since I have been a fan for a very long time. I thought that it really showed a different side to Estee. She really opened up in the book and it made me laugh and it made be cry throughout the whole thing. She is very observant in her life and it brings a different perspective on decisions one can make in their own life. I think she did it justice for a so called "beauty guru" because she is so much more than that. Estee is a role model and an influencer. I would recommend this book to anyone!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice. I borrowed this book from a friend; & what you see is what you get; a book laying out the glimpse into the life of a successful 'YouTuber'. That said, it's beaufitully structured, includes an interesting taste in photography, and an all around good 'millenial' book. If you like watching youtube videos until your eyes are dry, then you'll probably like this book. I'd read it again, but wouldn't go out of my way to do so.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful Book I love Estee Lalonde from her youtube videos and was so excited to read this book and learn more about her life and experiences. The only bad part of this book was the amount of spelling errors. The book looked and felt beautiful in my hands but the errors were hard to ignore.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Glad I read it but didn't want to own it If you are a fan of Estee, this book has quite a few lovely tidbits about her life, her childhood and her general philosophies. The only thing is I found this book to be a bit underwhelming. Her advice can be a bit cookie cutter at times and the prose isn't that great. I'm glad I read it but I wouldn't recommend you buy the book to read over and over again. On the other hand, the photos are marvellous I'm sure thanks to Aslan and her friends.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay The book itself is beautiful and the addition of pictures makes the book so aesthetically pleasing however the content was a lackluster, repetitive and surface level. Good quick read!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wanting More I am a big fan of Estée's YouTube channel so I purchased this for a recent trip that I wouldn't have internet access for. Like many other reviewers, I thoroughly enjoyed the more personal essays included in the book (her struggles with body image, depression, relationship with her father), but also felt they kind of only merely scratched the surface. Since the essays were clearly such a point of connection for many readers, I think it would have been amazing to see them with more depth and in a standalone essay collection (à la Chelsea Handler, Arden Rose, etc). Maybe in the future?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy Read This was an amazingly quick read. I really enjoyed the aesthetics of the book. Estee did a great job!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from After following her on youtube I enjoy keeping up-to-date with Estee on youtube (I make it seem as if we are friends). I found this book to dive in a little deeper to the person we see online. I enjoyed the stories about her family and past more than her lifestyle sections.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cute but ok Beautifully designed, but I found that I was disappointed with the level of content in there.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I love Estee I wanted to support a fellow Canadian. I love Estee she's so down to earth and real; naturally i had to order her book. I agree with some of the reviews, i expected a little more out of her stories. Overall i thought she created a beautiful book.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hoped for more I'm a big Estée Lalonde fan, so I was really excited to see she had a book coming out. Unfortunately, I had hoped for more from this book. The photos and design are beautiful, and it's nice to learn more about her through her writing. But all of her stories were kind of glossed over, and vague. Never really felt like we were getting the full picture about any specific topic. Still, would recommend to any Estée fan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super insightful and simple read I bought this knowing that I loved following Estee on her social media platforms. Not only did this book give me a deeper insight into her life, it also inspired me to look deeper into my own self-discovery as a young woman.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Estee Lalonde! I can't believe she wrote a novel... I'm a fan of her vlogs and I am quite happy that I got the chance to pick this up and read it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sincerely Disappointed I'm a long time viewer of Estée's YouTube channel and my review has very little to do with her as a person (I basically want to be her best friend and that hasn't changed). The book was primarily disappointing because I feel that it lacked good editing. There are several spelling mistakes and typos that made it into print and really diminished the quality overall. I also feel that despite having a great outline for the book, several topics that are quite serious and would have made for a well-rounded biography such as her relationship with her father and struggles with body-image were just skimmed over and there was no real depth to her writing. On a positive note - the book itself is absolutely stunning and has a great aesthetic!
