Rated 4 out of 5 by from Desserts, the simple and the sublime This recipe book isn't for the faint of heart. It isn't for someone who wants to find a quick recipe for a chocolate cake or a pie. But it is filled with a broad range of recipes which will enhance any dessert/baker's repertoire. There are "basic" recipes in the sense that stock recipes for cookies and puddings, but I would recommend buying other cookbooks if that's what you're really looking for. Buy this book if you want to wow your dinner guests.
