Reviews

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I may have reached the end with this series I found this book was quite a bit darker than previous installments, and while I still love the characters and the world Galanorn has created, I found this book was missing much of the humour and lightness that has interspersed with the battle part in earlier books. There wasn't much other than the battle the sisters are facing in this book. A few small moments of happiness, but the vast majority of this story was surrounding the escalating battle the sisters and their extended family [Trillian returns, and the girls' father also returns in this book] are engaged in to save the worlds - Earthside and Otherworld. I just found it very heavy and sad, and without giving spoilers, there were some really downer moments in this book that were tough. I am going to read the next book in the hopes that there will be more than just battles and death - something positive to balance out the tough parts.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing. I've read every book in Galenorn's series and this book as far as I'm concerned was disappointing. I found that many of the adventures in the book were insignificant and didn't really add to the story of the seals and the demon invasion. I didn't like the book as much as the others. I also found that the sisters weren't connected as much in this story. Maybe Galenorn is loosing interest in her series?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved It So far I've loved all of the books in this series, but this is by far my favorite one. Can't wait for the rest of the series to come out.
