The first book in a sensational New Adult trilogy from Noelle August.

Welcome to, the dating site for the millennial gen with its no-fuss, no-commitments matchups, and where work is steamier than any random hook-up.

Mia Galliano is an aspiring filmmaker. Ethan Vance has just played his last game as a collegiate soccer star. They’re sharp, hungry for success, and they share a secret.

Last night, Ethan and Mia met at a bar, and, well . . . one thing led to another, which led to them waking up the next morning—together. Things turned awkward in a hurry when they found themselves sharing a post hookup taxi . . . to the same place: Boomerang headquarters.

What began as a powerful connection between them is treated to a cold shower courtesy of two major complications. First, Boomerang has a strict policy against co-worker dating. And second, they’re now competitors for only one job at the end of summer.

As their internships come to an end, will they manage to keep their eyes on the future and their hands off each other, or will the pull of attraction put them right back where they started?

Noelle August is a pseudonym for Veronica Rossi and Lorin Oberweger. Veronica Rossi is aNew York TimesandUSA Todaybestselling author. Lorin Oberweger is an award-winning writer. Together, they create a strong voice with a fun, smart wit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Delightfully Funny Romance! "Boomerang" by Noelle August is a delightfully funny contemporary romance that begins after Mia Galliano and Ethan Vance spend one steamy night together. Passionately attracted to each other, they end up competing in their summer internship at Boomerang , a hot new dating service that has a strict no employee dating policy. To further complicate their relationship the owner Adam Blackwood wants them to test the company's dating service and collaborate in the design of the display booth for the upcoming trade show in Las Vegas. Wanting the job, each must "play to win" even though the cost could be too high. In a hot new contemporary romance where two young adults haunted by failed relationships compete for a job they both want, they struggle to keep their distance. This well-written plot is refreshing and sexy although the swearing could be reduced. The story not only focuses on Mia and Ethan's romance, but on friendship and the unconditional love and support of family. Noelle August has created memorable and realistic characters in this captivating plot who are not perfect as they compete for a coveted position that only one can win. Mia Galliano a want-to-be filmmaker from a wealthy artistic family wants to succeed in her field on her own merits. She's smart, sassy and talented. Ethan Vance an injured soccer player who coaches the Dynamos, a team of nine year olds wants to earn enough money to pay off his student loans and pursue a law degree. He's considerate, easy-going and fair, but has relationship issues having been burnt by his former girlfriend's betrayal. When Mia and Ethan get involved fireworks explode as neither is able to keep their hands or mind off the other. Of the other personalities in this story Adam Blackwood is the young multi- million dollar entrepreneur and owner of Boomerang who hides his own demons behind a keen, competitive and charismatic nature; Alison Quick the cold and hard ex-girlfriend plagued by a strong-willed, dominate father; Cookie a blunt, crabby, no -nonsense project manager; Rhett, Boomerang's spirited and self-absorbed Human Resources manager. This is just a few of a score of characters that bring life, drama and passion to a light romance who can't put down. I liked "Boomerang", rate it highly and will look for other books in this series.
