Rated 5 out of 5 by from Born To Bite I love how this is a light and laugh out loud kind of a series. It has suspense without being very intense.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun & Light Armand Argeneau has been through hell and back, all three of his wives (one of them a life mate) have died in accidents. When his brother Lucian sends one of his enforcers, Eshe, Armand thinks its to provide her a safe house because she is in danger. Little does he know, he can’t read her and she can’t read him, thus they’re life mates. Armand also doesn’t know that Lucian sent Eshe for a different purpose, to investigate if he is killing his wives. Eshe isn’t afraid when she realized Armand is her life mate, she is hell bent on clearing his name. But a series of accidents start happening and Eshe might not be able to live long enough to clear it. There is something about an Argeneau book that keeps me coming back. While the formula Lynsay Sands writes doesn’t change much (vampire meets life mate through some sort of danger, one knows they are perfect for each other while the other denies it, they begin to eat again, they have sex, pass out & figure everything out) I still adore them. I always say whatever Argeneau family member I’m reading about at the time, is my favorite but I think this time around I can be sure and say it’s Armand. He’s been through so much, he deserves his happily ever after! Eshe is strong enough to provide him with it and proves that she can take care of herself if the need arises. Let me tell you, no one writes a sex scene like Lynsay Sands. Life mates can feel each others pleasure (umm sign me up) and the over stimulation leads them to passing out. Again, where can we sign up? Born To Bite signals a return, I found the spin off series a bit disappointing, but it also is part paranormal romance and part mystery which made it all the more fun of a read. That’s just it, Lynsay Sands novels are meant to be fun and light. Which is exactly what I was looking for and Ms. Sands exceeded my expectations with Born To Bite. It’s exactly what us Argeneau fans needed!
