The bright pictures, predictable patterns and repetition encourage engagement, interaction and excitement from even the youngest pre-readers. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delightful This is a terrific book for infant/toddlers. Great to encourage prereading skills: shape, colour, rhyme, sound recognition. Just like the Dr. Seuss books, they teach receptive language.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great book, Great book, for you and me Our son Cameron insists on having this read to him in the morning, noon and at night. Better than a few choruses of "100 bottles of beer on the wall" on a road trip, Cameron soaks up "Brown Bear, Brown Bear what do you see" over and over again. Don't worry--you'll have it memorized in no time. But is worth it to hear him giggle every time!
