"By turns hilarious and heartbreaking, Hannah Hart’s new book is a roaring, beautiful, and profoundly human account of an extraordinary life."—John Green

"Hannah shares her truth with an honesty that is inspiring—one that makes me believe her when she says that it’s going to get better or that laughter is just around the corner or that you aren’t alone."—Jenny Lawson, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Let's Pretend This Never Happened and Furiously Happy

Hannah Hart, wildly popular YouTube personality and author of the New York Times bestseller My Drunk Kitchen, is stirring up tales from her past with a collection of narrative essays about family, faith, love, sexuality, self-worth, friendship and fame.

Personal note:

Hello, my darlings! I am incredibly pleased to present Buffering: Unshared Tales of a Life Fully Loaded!

As a big fan of memoirs, I wanted to try my hand at writing about the events of my life that deserve a little more consideration than can be accomplished in 140-characters or a 6-minute vlog. Now on the cusp of turning 30, I'm ready to expose some parts of my life that I haven't shared before. Before, it was all about privacy, process and time. And now the time has come! I’m ready to put myself out there, for you.

I'm a little nervous about all these vulnerable words going into the world, these tales about my love life, the wrestling I’ve done with faith, how I feel about sex and my family and myself. I’ve had a lot of trials, a lot of errors, but also a lot of passion. Here’s the thing--I've always found comfort in the stories shared by others, so I hope my stories, now that I feel ready to tell them, will bring you some comfort too.

And when you read this book please remember: Buffering is just the time it takes to process.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get this book! I'm a fan of the author via YouTube but didn't read this book until it was out for a while. I'm sorry I didn't read it sooner. It was well written, open and raw, endearing and funny, and everything that the author is on screen. I should have known this book would be a great representation of her and her personality. But it did open up new stories and feelings that must have been incredible difficult yet cathartic to disclose in a book for the public. This is a story of finding balance and happiness, of friendship and relationships, and of overcoming adversity to follow your own path. #plumreview

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome I bought this book as passive fan of hers, and didn't know exactly what to expect. I was impressed with her story-telling abilities, especially when it comes to some of the darker parts of her life. It was sad, uplifting, inspiring and funny. Really enjoyed it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny and more I got this book for Christmas and it was the best thing I've read in five years. Hannah's life is as interesting as it is heart wrenching. It's the perfect book for those of you looking to relate to a very complex and multi faceted individual. I've always appreciated Hannah Hart's personality, but the nuance in this book will make you want to wrap her up in a hug and simultaneously ask for advice? Two words: READ IT! And it looks like it's currently on sale -- now's your chance!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would recommend for everyone-not just for fans of Hannah Hart on YoutTube At first, I purchased this book purely because I am a fan of Hannah Hart. I was so excited for the stories she promised to tell and quickly counted down the days till the release. This book is beyond amazing and so different from her My Drunk Kitchen first book. There are stories of coming of age, eye opening mental illness issues, and LGBTQ+ themes. This is one book where I will read it again and again and again, highlighting certain sentences as I go. Easily one of my favourite memoirs. Thank you for opening up, Hannah, you broke my heart and put it back together again leaving me with hope and giggles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic! I bought this book a few days ago because I was traveling back to university and needed something to read. This was the best decision. I've read My Drunk Kitchen and knew this book was going to be as fantastic. It was relatable at times, and it was nice to be able to read Hannah's journey. I could barely put it down. I definitely recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best memoirs I've read As soon as this came out, I spent the whole night reading it. It is one of the most engaging, relatable and sincere memoirs I've read. Moreover, though I never thought a book could make the following possible, I actually did feel less alone in my own struggles after reading it.
