J. sells goods to B. for £200 and, in consideration of that bargain, B. promises that he will not exercise the trade of a mercer in such a village, etc. But after B. uses it there, and J. brought an action on the case, and resolved by the court that it well lies. For it was a voluntary promise for a good consideration, and is restraint as to a place. Otherwise, if it had been a general restraint, or upon a coaction, or without consideration, as 2 H. 5. 5. 6.
