From the author of the life-changing book Outrageous Openness: Letting the Divine Take the Lead, a thoughtful collection of prayers and stories to help you actively invite the Divine into your life.

“Change me Divine Beloved into One who can give and receive freely and be a clear vessel for Your Light.”

In this sequel to her first book, Tosha Silver, with her characteristic mix of passion and humor, shows how to embrace transformation from the inside out. Covering a variety of topics—from work and finances to love and self-worth—Change Me Prayers shows how to truly surrender to a Divine plan in the most joyous and uplifting way.

At its heart, this book is a spiritual guide to help anyone open to this union with Love, even in times of difficulty or crisis, and includes a convenient “Change Me Prayers Quick Guide.” Tosha proves to be a profound, unique, and often hilarious guide to awakening. May the Divine permeate every part of your life!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wonderful prayers The prayers are not tied to any religion and cover many topics. This is the kind of book to have handy for frequent reference; my copy has post it notes marking numerous pages so I can easily find the prayers that speak to me more than others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finding Peace in the Midst of Chaos This book has been a great reminder to look at the bigger picture when I'm dealing with particularly hard times or overwhelming emotions. The stories throughout the book give great examples of gratitude prayers and the back section has prayers that have covered such a variety of situations and feelings that it can be a great gift to close friends and loved ones who are experiencing hard times. For those not particularly affiliated with a religion the prayers are universal and open-ended on a Source rather than a particular deity but it leaves it open to the reader to make the most of it. Great spiritual find.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you're looking for a way to let go and let God... I loved Tosha's first book, Outrageous Openness and am equally thrilled with the Change me prayers book. So many times I've heard, 'just let go and let God' but was never really taught HOW to do this. Plus, the small self/ego doesn't really want to just surrender to the Divine's lead. Change me prayers have been so powerful for me as they've helped me to learn how to bow the small self to the great self. This book is filled with short stories and accompanying prayers that cover so many topics, everything from relationships, Divine worth, to parking lot woes. I love that it's not a rule book for prayer, and I'm enjoying writing my own prayers throughout the day, so transformational for me!

Read from the Book

Change Me Prayers 1. Mise en Place If you’ve ever read my work, you know by now that I consider almost nothing random. If I’m cradling a question in my heart, to be shown the right direction I pay intense attention to the answers that come, no matter what delivery service God may use. License plates, billboards, songs on the radio, comments from strangers, all become grist for my own spiritual mill. So my ears perked up like a Labrador one time when a stately, white-haired Frenchman turned to me in the produce aisle of the grocery store and exclaimed, “Mise en place, it’s ALL about mise en place, n’est-ce pas? It’s the consummate key!” I nodded and thanked him, though I had no idea what the hell he was talking about. I made a note to check when I got home, but if you’re a cook, you may already know. I discovered mise en place is a French phrase for prepping all the ingredients for a meal: getting everything washed, chopped, and in order. Some people would even include cleaning and readying the kitchen. That way, when it’s time, you can cook with abandon. Well, I couldn’t think of a better message. I could feel in my bones that a big wave of new life was lurking right around the bend. So get ready! Clean out the closets, finish up loose ends, get rid of what needs to go. Create a vacuum for the New to fill. Release dead weight, old destructive habits, exhausting relationships. Pick a few items off the procrastination list and whisk them away. And if the Divine wants to make a delicious meal out of you, well, you’ll be prepared.Change me Divine Beloved into One who easily releases all that’s ready to go, making room for what wants to come. May I courageously release all that is outgrown and stagnant, preparing for the new. Let me move in harmony with Your natural cycles in every way.

Editorial Reviews

“You need at least two copies of Change Me Prayers: One needs to be in your bag for easy access throughout the day, and one should be on your nightstand. No matter where you are or what you are going through, Tosha understands, and she provides a story and an affirmation that will bring you comfort. All you have to do is open to any page and it will be the right one. Feeling alienated and without purpose wreaks havoc on you physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Change Me Prayers can be the answer that you may not have even known you were looking for.”
