Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do I need to say it?? Read these when I was a kid. or maybe my parents read them to me... I can't remember, but I remember each story and I loved them. I'm going to read them again to see if it was my preteen mind that loved them or if they were really great. I suspect they were great as I've never heard anyone say anything bad about them

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Must-Have!! Th Chronicles of Narnia is a classic book series that I used to own when I was younger. My mother has it now and so I had to get a new one. This particular box-set is the one that I will be using to study with in my Children's Lit. course at University this year. When I first saw the cover illustrations I thought that although they were wonderfully done, I was disappointed; I wanted to have all the original drawings. Well, I opened up the books and there they were, at the beginning of every chapter... the same drawings I grew up loving. This is truly a wonderful series and no home should be without C.S.Lewis and his magical world of Narnia.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A marvelous escape The whole series is absolutely great. Each books leaves you wanting more and starting the next one right away. C.S. Lewis creates an imaginary world in which the reader may escape to. If only such a place were true! I have yet to see the movie based on these books but I know I loved reading them. I definitely recommend the series to all . Must read for all ages!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent novels The novels are excellent! What I love about them is the adventure and excitement and what makes most novels good, but particularly this one, is that I can imagine everything happening inside my head. Even on the first page of each novel, it already gets you interested and wanting to read on. The characters are great! Each has a unique personality, and their personalities are so believable too! Usually I am not really the kind of reader interested in talking animals or big battles but this novel was FAR TOO GOOD to pass up and I shortly I fell in love with the series! Also what I like about the format of this novel is that there are a few pictures to look at, unlike some novels where the only picture is the cover. Great novel, I recommend it to all kinds of people, well except toddlers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Timeless. "Narnia, Narnia, Narnia, awake. Love. Think. Speak. Be walking trees. Be talking beasts. Be divine waters." – The Magician's Nephew Never have I ever been so innocently enchanted by a series of books. Once again, C.S. Lewis' writing is possessed with the most sweeping and vivid imagination, the perfect fuel for a lucid adventure through mental imagery. A very captivating and enlightening read for people of all ages.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from :D C.S. Lewis' Chronicles Of Narnia are soooooo good! :D i fall in love with all the magical creatures and i love all the books. i own the box set and i think that the old covers not the high techy new ones, the old covers are much more classical and refined. the books are wonderfully made and i finished the box set within a week. you will feel joy and sorrow. i felt such saddness in the second book but then everything turns out okay! :D Harry Potter, Eragon, someone dies. So does TCON, but, unlike them, when someone dies in TCON, Lewis makes something good happen so they're not essentially dead :D some may hate that but i don't see how authors can kill of read the books! :D they're worth the time if you don't read and if you're a bookworm..well then reread them. lol.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More Then a Few Words You can't imagine the thoughts that came to my head when I had read them. There are too many compliments to count. Even though I have a lot of words that could discribe these books. I will only name more then a few. C.S Lewis has done an excellent job in putting all the books in a connection. The first time you read them you don't notice it. Although the second and third time you see all the connections and the intelligence that has been put into them.I would surely rate these books 100000 on 100. They are that good. If you love fantasy this is a book for you. Its unimaginable, excellent, fantastic, addictive, intelligent, smart but is also dumb proof you don't have to be a genius to understand it. Well thats my review. Thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful! Before Harry Potter, there was Narnia! I have loved these books since I was a kid, and now I get to pass the story on to my neice. These stories are rich and full of the kind of imagination that gets kids to read and keep on reading! There are 7 books in all and each one will keep your youngster (or you!) wanting more. There are morals hidden in the stories and interesting characters and scenery that make it interesting for the adults who read these to their kids. Wonderful, wonderful stories!
