Reviews

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A Cute Story This book is loosely based on the Cinderella story. It involves an Amish girl who lives in her stepmother’s barn loft and is rescued by her prince charming. Although it is based on a fairytale type story, I found the writing and story line to be much more simplistic than what is typical of this author. I think it is best suited for the much younger preteen girl. All in all a cute story, but I would like to have seen better development of the characters and more believable details in the story. Because I know the high quality books usually put out by this author, the fact that I did not think this particular book was her best writing would not discourage me from reading other books written by her. Her boldness to share scripture in her stories is something I strongly admire.
