Renee Maxwell lands her dream job as assistant to archaeologist Damon Cubins in wondrous Turkey. However, she starts seeing strange things after finding a unique crystal. For one, hot Damon now looks like the sexy demi-god and underwear model of her dreams. Her feminist ideals are challenged with each bit of banter and seductive look he gives her, but she's not falling for his charm.

Time is of the essence for incubus, Damon Cubins, who must find a one-of-a-kind crystal or turn into a full-fledged demon. He has neither the time nor desire for love, but his new assistant tests his resolve. When he discovers she’s got the crystal he needs to save himself, he must make a decision to either romance it from her or walk away. But can he?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Claimed I had a lot of fun with the very original concept behind this novel. It was fun and entertaining while also taking some odd detours that really worked in the history of the region and of the characters themselves. This all comes together in Cooper’s well laid out plot. Suspense and romance come together in unique manners that I couldn’t forget. The mix of history and archaeology is heightened by the tension between the characters. Renee’s strength and intellect were impossible to miss. She made a fantastic heroine. Damon’s guilt and self-doubt vie with his larger than life personality to create a hero that really steals the show. I couldn’t help but fall in love with him as we got to know him better and better. Together, these two really took this novel to a new level. Cooper has mixed one of a kind characters with a well-researched, exciting plot to create a novel that readers will love. It was a quick fun read that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others. Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.
