Real life is a whole lot scarier than the movies. But Shock Street isn't really real. Is it?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Robotic theme park I think this is one of the best ones and a definite improvement on ‘One Day at Horrorland’. Two friends are visiting a newly built robotic theme park (think Westworld) from a horror movie studio they love. The girl’s father is a designer there so they get a tour before anyone else, alone. Being alone in a huge theme park is already freaky, but to add to it they must stay put in a low, open tram as it takes them through the park on a track. There are tons of fun creative scares, like a haunted house indoor-rollercoaster, giant praying mantises and white worms, a zombie graveyard, werewolves, etc. And the shocking end twist is actually relevant to the plot, not completely out of the blue like in some of the other books.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Feels familiar RL Stine got lazy with this one and just borrowed the story from One Day at Horrorland. New characters, new monsters but same story of kids trying to get out of an amusement park.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from One of the weaker books Not one of Stine's best works as far as Goosebumps go, but not too bad. A bit of a long read and not really that interesting to begin with.
