Rated 3 out of 5 by from Original cover is much creepier Definitely one of the weirder Goosebumps books. I like the updated cover by itself but it’s disappointing since it (& the new blurb) spoil the plot twist! I remember reading the book the first time as a kid, trying to put the clues together of where the missing campers were going, and being completely shocked at the reveal. I feel like new readers won’t have the same mystery now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A bit of a disappointment Honestly, this book was pretty interesting and I did enjoy it to the end, but the end was not quite what I was expected and I was a bit disappointed after all the anticipation that was built. Still a good read for the big fans of the series though.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Standard Stine This is a fairly standard Goosebumps novel - corny, silly, sometimes stupid. This book has all of that but kids manage to enjoy the series anyways.
