Maggie: capable and high-achieving, until she finds the one thing she can't cope with -- motherhood.

Candice: honest, decent, or so she believes -- until a ghost from her past turns up and almost ruins her life.

A chance encounter in the cocktail bar sets in train an extraordinary set of events which upsets all their lives and almost destroys their friendship.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I want to join the cocktail club! I enjoyed this book. The characters seemed to have a genuine affection for eachother. I believe that the separate characters' plots could have been more developed, but it was a cute story. I really enjoyed the story of Maggie and her initiation in to motherhood. There was no sugar-coating in this book. However, it was sweet. An easy read that requires a weekend and bubbles.
