about

[Siren Menage Everlasting: Erotic Western Menage a Quatre Romance, M/F/M/M] Having completed two years at a Virginia ladies' college, required to gain her inheritance, Jessamine Elliott returns to Tanner's Ford. Raised on a ranch with six wild brothers, she's determined to keep her independence by becoming a partner on her brothers' Bitterroot Ranch. But Ranger insists she prove herself by spending three weeks working for the Double Diamond, owned by a trio of greenhorn English aristocrats, posing as a boy. At Ranger's urging, Kenrick 'Ace' Langford reluctantly takes Jessie on, thinking she's a bratty boy but needing the skills. His partners see through Jessie's disguise but go along with the ruse, hoping they will marry. Ace feels strangely drawn to Jessie so stays far away. Three weeks later he thinks he's finally free of the brat when he finds Jessie floating in his hot spring. When the uppity brat rolls over, showing lush breasts, Ace decides it's payback time. ** A Siren Erotic Romance

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic What a rush! Combine the Montana territory and all its trials and tribulations with a cast of characters that I couldn’t get enough of and Butler has created a winning story here. Not only does the setting and scene come to life, but the entire story seemed so real. Yes, it was hot and Butler did a fantastic job of showing the dynamics of the relationship, but it was so much more than that as well. I felt as if I were part of these characters’ lives for a little while. The Jessie/Ace dynamic in this story was priceless. Both of them trying to fit the other into preconceived moulds that just don’t apply made for some comical and very tense moments. Sin’s unending mirth stood at odds with his imposing persona. Henry as a painter was a fantastic twist to the rugged cast of this story (and of the series as a whole). I truly loved how each of these three men stood out so differently, yet how close friends they are. This is a family unit that you can really see enduring in the long run. I enjoy how Butler expands her cast to include those that we met in past stories, as well as other individuals that I hope to get closer to later. This is so much more than just a novel that will leave you all hot and bothered (and trust me, if you enjoy the genre at all, it will). Butler combines romance with suspense, erotic moments with real live ranching in such a manner that you really get a sense of the big picture in these lives so far removed from the ones we live today, yet during a time that was essential to bringing about the world as we know it.
