about

Sometimes the truth hurts....

Reed Brennan came to superposh Easton Academy to make a brand-new life for herself. At first it seemed as though her dream had come true-she was living in the ultraexclusive Billings Hall, hanging out with the all-powerful Billings Girls, and dating the very hot Thomas Pearson. But Thomas turned out to be different from what she thought...and then he turned up dead. And if that wasn't twisted enough, Reed's new boyfriend, Josh Hollis, was arrested for Thomas's murder.

Now everyone is back to worrying about the regular stuff, like how to sneak to the boys' dorms at night, whether two-ply cashmere is warm enough for fall, and whether to fly to London or Barcelona for Thanksgiving break.

Everyone except for Reed.

Reed is convinced that Josh is innocent, which means the killer is still out there. Now it's up to Reed to uncover the truth. But the deeper she digs, the more secrets she unearths and the closer she gets to the confession that will change everything...if she's alive to hear it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from My Favorite Thus Far Finally! We get more of Dash and the Dash that isn't super glued to Noelle's hip 24/7 and I've got to admit I sorta love him. And perhaps have a not so secret desire to have Dash and Reed hook up. We also get to see Reed not falling in line when it comes to the Billings Girls. She's finally starting to stand up for herself and go against what they want. Reed is realizing that perhaps life in her previous dorm wasn't all that horrible and definitely didn't have all the drama. The murder of Thomas is finally resolved and I'm happy that it is. I couldn't handle too much more of this person being accused only to be discovered that the person isn't our killer. Although, I wasn't surprised who the killer was I had a feeling and I knew who it was. This was probably my favorite book out of all of the series thus far. I like the person that Reed is now starting to become again and I loved the ending of this one. Looking forward to the next book.
