MATT McGUIRE is currently completing a PhD in contemporary Irish and Scottish Literature (to finish June 2006). He received an MSc in 2004 from the University of Edinburgh having written a thesis on the language of contemporary Scottish fiction and is also presently teaching Scottish Literature at the University of Edinburgh.
