Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from How the world of Newsflesh began... You COULD read Countdown before you read the Newsflesh trilogy. It's not as good as the trilogy, but it's pretty good in its own right. You will understnd immediately exactly what Kellis-Amberlee is, instead of having to work that out from context. If anybody out there wants to read a really good trilogy about terror (NOT really about zombies! Good books with zombies in them are never ABOUT zombies!) they should probably read Countdown first--- IF they are not used to reading science fiction, or if they just like to start things at the beginning. If you do read this, and like it at all, you should definitely read the other Newsflesh novellas, before or after reading the trilogy. The others are better. Good as the trilogy, and that's very good indeed!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Book fan I'm sure that there was the potential for a full book in stories of the rising. My only complaint would be that the author didn't rise to the occasion.
