The missions are more frequent, the alien Drau more deadly, and whatever has been tracking her thoughts more intrusive. The only thing holding Miki together is her boyfriend, Jackson, but somehow telling him how much she needs—and loves—him feels like the most terrifying challenge of all.

Can Miki and Jackson make it through the final mission alive and win the Game before the walls between their alien-fighting nightmares and the real world come crashing down? Or will the world and everyone Miki loves disappear forever?

Crash is the fiercely satisfying conclusion to a trilogy Pittacus Lore, New York Times bestselling author of the I Am Number Four series, raves is packed with "thrilling action and addictive romance—a mind-bending rush of a read!"

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hmmm Okay, so I read the first two in the series in quick succession over a year ago, and so it took a moment for me to get back into the flow of this series. This book picks up right where the last one ended, with Miki and Jackson about to do battle against the invading aliens - again - while back in their reality, her father and her best friend lie in comas after their car accident. After kicking off, this book never lets up, delivering a fast-paced, action-packed finale to the series. The thing about this series is that it felt a bit like a prequel. I almost want there to be more books, because, despite the fact that the arc from these books has been handily wrapped up, there's still a very potent sense that there could have been more. We have our questions all answered, but in a way that leads you to believe that there's a lot more action to take, and a lot more story to tell. It left an otherwise satisfying ending rather unsatisfactory. I loved Miki and Jackson and everyone in this book. I loved their relationship's development and the way they grew into this together. I guess as a final book in the trilogy, it was great, but it seemed to promise a lot more story that I don't think will ever be delivered. If there was ever an opportunity for fan fiction, this is it.
