From a bestselling author comes a fun, flirty look at first love!

High school senior Mary Jane Ettermeyer has been the good girl for a long time. To date, she's proud to say she's been able to keep her pledge of abstinence (not that anyone has challenged it). But when the cutest guy in school starts flirting with her, she suddenly finds herself crazy in love. Even though her inner Plain Jane is telling her he can't possibly think she's cute, her inner Sexy M. J. is questioning her vow to keep herself pure until marriage. Not to mention that hot Jackson House shouldn't even be talking to her, because he already has a girlfriend! There are a ton of good reasons why she should never speak to Jackson again, except that every time she sees him, all of her resistance seems to melt away. . . .

Dandi Daley Mackall is theauthor of numerous books for children, includingLarger-Than-Life Lara. She lives in West Salem, Ohio, with her husband and their three children.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Opens the eye Hmmmm.... where to start? First off, this book, well, it talks a lot about abstinence which I guess would make it a good book for teens who are very confused about the topic. It gives both points of views of waiting and going for it and teaches you that overall, it's your decision. Or, something along those lines. Also, upon reading this book, I come to realize that I don't really like Mary Jane. I don't know why, it's just a personal opinion, but she's kind of annoying. So if you don't really have patience for people like that then I suggest you don't read the book since you just might get super frustrated with her. This book also talks about the different voices that go on in one's head. Throughout the book, you're constantly reminded of those little devil and angel figures that you see in many cartoons. It also shows you that you aren't alone in life and that somewhere, someone knows how you feel. Crazy in Love is a great book if you feel alone in the world and like you are isolated from others. It teaches you that it will all work out and you just need to persevere. It's also a good book if you're curious about that certain, you know, "THE TALK", subject. Haha. Enjoy!
